Reaching 500+ Winnipeg, MB students in 6 days!
Thanks to funding from Centre for Ocean Literacy Collaboration, Ocean Week Canada, Water Rangers, Manitoba Habitat Conservancy's Conservation Trust, and TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, Watersheds Canada was in Winnipeg, MB for a week to deliver 23 workshops for over 500 grades K-8 students at Sage Creek School! Students completed hands-on art activities and experiments as they learned about watersheds, local fish species, water quality testing, and the importance of protecting our freshwater areas.

Du 1er au 8 juin 2026, la Semaine de l’océan Québec est de retour pour une 7e édition haute en couleurs! Portée par Organisation Bleue depuis 2020, cette célébration provinciale invite le public à se rassembler autour du Saint-Laurent et de l’océan à travers une foule d’activités festives et engagées. Nettoyages de berges, conférences, activités familiales, projections, concerts et initiatives citoyennes prendront vie aux quatre coins du Québec, notamment à Montréal, à la Capitale nationale, en passant par Lacolle, Trois-Pistoles, le Saguenay et plusieurs autres régions. Inscrite dans le mouvement national de la Semaine de l’océan Canada, la Semaine de l’océan Québec célèbre depuis maintenant sept ans notre lien profond avec le fleuve, les communautés côtières et l’océan.
