Press Release – Ocean Week Toronto 2026 – Oceanic Impact
Ocean Week Toronto, scheduled for May 31 to June 8, 2026, is a region-wide celebration connecting inland communities in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area to ocean and freshwater health. Organized by Oceanic Impact as part of Ocean Week Canada, the event highlights the vital link between local waterways and the global ocean through a diverse lineup of public activities. Key initiatives include the Women4Climate Community Connection, a Nature & Water Flagship Event, an Education Fair in Milton, citizen science water testing, and the Illumination in Blue visual campaign on World Ocean Day. The program also features ongoing library programming and aims to encourage local action and awareness regarding marine conservation among residents of all ages.
