Newmarket Library launching reading clubs with Storywalk, Bubble Show party - Newmarket News

The Newmarket Library is launching its 2026 Summer Reading Club with a community-wide kickoff party on June 7, themed "Dive Into Reading." The event, held at the Fairy Trail Amphitheatre, features a Storywalk of the book *Biindigen! Amik Says Welcome* by Indigenous author Nancy Cooper, who will also lead an interactive stroll around the trail. Attendees can enjoy an interactive bubble show, meet the author, and participate in a costume contest for a chance to win prizes. This initiative aims to celebrate the program's growing participation and encourage children to read for fun throughout the summer.
